Hubby has left the building. I'm sad to see him heading off to California for their next job, but the last couple of weeks have been hectic. No time for Christmas decorations. No time for shopping. No Christmas spirit. Must change that. I'll rest up a bit today and work with little man on his schoolwork. Maybe tonight I can get the man/child to help me move things around and get the tree up. Maybe I'll even light some candles and play a few Christmas CDs to get in the mood.
Anyone busy working? This time of year tends to play havoc with my writing time. Not that I've been able to get back in the game. I can't seem to get fully engaged. Not sure if it's me or the new meds. I'm going to try to keep taking them at least until I go back to the Rhuematologist on the 18th. It sounds like several of my writer friends are struggling for various reasons. A few of us joined NaNoWriMo this year and didn't complete the word count. Others blasted right through and kudos to you if you're one of them.
Hope you guys are having a productive week. I'm off to check out a few blogs to see what's new. I'm determined to finish a beta read for a buddy today and submit 10 pages of my contemporary category to my RWA chapter contest.
