I'm baaaack...

...to torment and tease! I've truly missed you guys. I got my computer cord back on Thursday but spent that time catching up with little man's homework. I also had to finish up a beta read for a very talented YA author from my OKRWA chapter. *sigh* But I'm more than ready to get back into the swing of things.

My short term goal is to finish my rough synopsis for my new story. I've had some really cool chats lately with my heroine. Her character will hopefully inspire my hero to get his mojo back and get out of the pit he'd dug for himself. And I need to work on showing some love to a few of my crit partners.

Did everyone have a great weekend? My guys spoiled me rotten. The only decision I had to make this weekend was what I wanted to eat. I didn't have to lift a finger...no cooking or cleaning up...all weekend!! Woohoo!! We swam with little man yesterday and hubby grilled some of the best chicken he's ever made. He's pretty handy when it comes to cooking. Nothing exciting but plenty of down town...my favorite thing to do.

But it's time to crack the whip. Back to work;) Now that the work week has rolled back around...what are your short term goals?

Welcome back to the cyber world! My goal for the week is to try *cross fingers* to finish my WIP! Maybe I'll get on a huge roll and get it done!

My short term goal is to simple get through this week. It was a rough weekend, with one sick kiddo (she had to come home from school this morning, too, because she still doesn't feel good). If I can get maybe 2500 words on my WIP by Friday, I'd be happy :) Glad you're back!

Glad you are back! Short term goals are to finish my rough draft this week. Maybe.
I love your name btw--my daughter's is Shell (short for Shelly) but I wish I had seen yours. Is your real name Michelle? Her's is. It will make a great name on a cover!

{{Cindy}} I hope she feels better and that it's nothing serious! It's hard to focus while the kiddos are home and underfoot. I've already had to stop several times for mine. He deserved a swim break after he accomplished a difficult school paper I gave him to do. I'm with you on the 2500 words. We can do it!!

Terri! Thank you;) That's an excellent short term goal. I'll keep fingers crossed that it's possible!! Wow...type those words...The End!!

LOL...yes...my name is Michelle. I'm so used to people spelling it different ways and they either call me Chelle or Shelly. Most people call me Shelly and usually I'm just happy they remember my name at all. :)

Sounds like you had a great weekend!

My short term goal is to work on revising and edits - the tough part is just figuring out where to start!

My short term goal is to finish Ch. 10 this week. I have all the research done. This morning I wrote four pages before I went grocery shopping and drove my daughter and the kids to the library.

Glad you're back with us and your computer is healed.

Kate ~ I usually work on one chapter at a time. I open my chapter and look at all crits. The suggestions I agree with...I change as I go. But I always keep an original chapter before revisions in case I decide the changes aren't working for me. Good luck!!

Jennifer...you go girl!! Can't wait to catch up on my reading!!
