I've been swamped with life. LOL. Seriously. I've been sucked completely into historical research heaven. Facebook. Sickness. Remodeling. Children actually wanting me to take care of them. Nephews needing adult supervision. A retail website needing to be designed for my bath and body products. A restaurant business plan to be written. Hmmmm. Give me a minute. I'm sure I can come up with plenty more.
*sigh*
Where does my writing come into the picture? It hasn't. Not one word. But please...do NOT tell my novel bootcamp instructor. She'll make me do pushups. LOL. I've got my nephews for two days a week until school starts. OMG. It seriously needs to hurry. I'm pretty thankful at this point that we stopped at 2 kids. LOL. Right now I've got two 6 yo's and a 4 yo running around in circles having Star Wars battles with action figures. My 15 yo is pretty independent except for the taxi duties. My mom is pretty good about helping me in that regard.
Hubby left yesterday to go back to work and if I can get the kiddos to bed early....bwahaha, like that'll happen...I'm hoping to get some words on paper. My crit group is working on a July challenge and in cahoots with Candace Havens Writing Game challenge. I think todays required word count was 1142. Can I do that tonight....????

Chicki ~ I found out today that we'll have the nephews 3 days a week instead of two. *sigh* I think it'll be like this for at least a month before school starts. The restaurant is on hold until someone gets an urge. I calmed mom down a bit but not before she bought kitchen equipment. It's got two convection ovens, 6 large burners, a griddle and broiler. We already had the commercial mixer and separate pieces that we might sell. We've got a plumber coming to hook it up to the gas line next week. I can't wait to use it...so mom thinks we should add a sweet shop to the website if I want to wait on the restaurant. We'll make cookies, brownies, fudge, sweet breads, fruit bars and whatever else she comes up with. So I've got more to design on the website and will need to get everything in order within a month or two if we're going to be ready for the holidays. And no...I didn't get anything written last night. But it's almost 7pm tonight so I'm getting ready to go downstairs and get the boys in the shower and ready for bed.
Patricia...I was shocked when I saw the word count for today. It was a tad bit intimidating. Hopefully I can get the boys in bed and get them to quit squirming and giggling long enough for them to pass out. ;)
Jody:) Nothing last night. Hopefully I can make a dent tonight. The word count more than doubled today though. I'll be happy just to get a chapter written.

Wow-- I get worn out just reading all you are doing! No wonder you have been MIA. But you are using your writing by doing the Websites so that is good!
