Silence...

Awwww...the house is so quiet. Except for the dog's collar jingling when she scratches at those pesky fleas. Man. We have four dogs and having a really hard time getting rid of the fleas this year. We've never had a problem like this. We usually bathe the 3 little dogs in our utility sink and the lab mix outside. But Mom decided to graciously offer to take Possum to the groomer since I'm having health problems. Well...she came home with fleas. Not my Mom. Possum. ;)

Hubby started back to work after having his five day break, and man-child is headed off to school. Little man is still zonked out, snoring quietly. Isn't it amazing how peaceful and sweet they look when they're asleep? LOL. Give him another hour and we'll be dealing with breakfast and getting his schoolwork started.

Until then...I'll work on a beta read for a friend. As soon as we finish little man's homework, hopefully I can work on my chapter. Is everyone enjoying the change in the weather? Are the leaves beautiful where you live?

Have a productive day and happy writing!

Sweetie, you must be up real early. I'm a later nighter and must drag myself out of bed every morning to get the kiddos ready.

Yeah, they do look adorable asleep. Mine, too. The leaves here changed eons ago. Now we have snow. I'm so not ready. Keep at it Nano-mom.

Lynette ~ That's why I try to enjoy the peace and quiet when I have it. It's not a common occurrence here. :)

Bella ~ I have to get up early to make sure man-child gets to school. Mom has been helping by driving him when I'm unable. If I'm walking ok...then I take him. Sometimes I go back to bed when needed. ;) When hubby is home and working...he has to be up and off to work at 5:30am. So we try to go to bed early. And by the end of the day I'm usually exhausted and ready to pass out.

Jennifer ~ It probably helps with baby girl in school. Good luck!

Ah, quiet. What a lovely thing. Our leaves were beautiful, but they are almost all gone now.

Susan ~ It didn't last for long. :D Little man got up not too long after I posted. I had one cup of coffee and had time to answer a few emails. Our leaves are just about gone, too. *sigh* We didn't have much of a Fall this year.

I love quiet mornings! We've lost most of our leaves too, but we still have a sweet gum loaded down with purple and red leaves and I love it!

We all need days like that ...

I love peace and quiet, but I can't have total silence, so I always have quiet music playing.

Have a great day!

You have leaves? We have bare trees and the threat of snow on the horizon.

I hate winter.

Babies and little ones are so fun when they're sleeping. But then that doesn't always continue once the sandman leaves.

Natalie ~ We've got a few trees in the downtown area that are still that pretty, vibrant reds and yellows. But that's it. Everything else is brown and bare.

Chicki ~ I so rarely get peace and quiet that I try to enjoy it when I can. :)

Stephanie ~ It's 64 degrees here today...I think the weather can't make up it's mind. It's almost brown and bare here...with Fall like weather. Finally. :D
