Motivation

There's nothing like going away for 9 days and coming home again. I was able to work a little bit, but really spent the time chasing my 5 yo. Boy, was I ready to get home. And had over 600 email messages. Back to work.

I waded through all of my messages and tried to catch up on my crit group news. With the crap going on with the campaign and economy, I haven't really been motivated to do much except to bitch. I'll save you all from my solution soap box and focus on this gorgeous weather we've been having.

NaNo is coming up. I received my comments back from the Maggie contest and had a great suggestion for my Supers ms. So with that said...I'll take the next week or two to get back into the swing of things with my patient crit partners, and at eHarlequin.

But then it's game on.

Woh! 600 emails is a lot to wade through!

And I agree the weather right now is gorgeous, and as such is the best thing to focus on right now in these crazy times!

We missed you, girl. I didn't know you entered the Maggies. That's my group and I didn't have the cash to get the entry in by the deadline.

I'm glad the weather there is nice. It's been cold here - 43 degrees in the morning and only 60 during the day. Ugh! I hate having to wear a sweater or jacket.

Kate ~ I love this time of year!

Chicki ~ I love wearing my sweatshirts and shorts or capris. But it sounds colder there than it is here. I was hoping to come out for the M&M and Maggies conference, but money is tight. CJ Carmichael gave me some great suggestions on my ms though. The asst. ed at Supers wants to see it again...so I guess I need to fix it and get it sent in.

Hey, glad you had fun on your vacation. I'm always watching the news and getting pissed. I fear for this country.

Hey, Theresa! I've sure missed you sweet friend! I'm also afraid for our country...with good reason. I could bore or upset everyone if I get up on my soapbox, so I'll let ya off the hook.
