Request!!

Well...ya'll know that I was chosen as a finalist to pitch online to Ms. Victoria Curran, editor with Harlequin Superromance. Being pubbed with Superromances has been a dream of mine from the beginning. I'd done well with a previous pitch and had a partial requested, though it was ultimately rejected with some wonderful advice attached.

I've done it again. *squuuuueeeeeee* Ms. Curran has requested a partial with a synopsis on my Call of Duty manuscript. I was incredibly nervous and had the whole sweating palms-could electrocute-myself thing going on. I prepared by setting up a document listing my H/h goals, motivations, and conflicts. I figured I could just cut and paste to answer Ms. Curran's questions. She was the one that came prepared, and probably the reason she's the editor and I'm the peon stumbling around sounding like a raving idiot. LOL. Anyhoo...I'm assuming I halfway answered her question because she said something to the effect that my author voice would fit with the Supers line.

So here we go again. I'm off to torture myself with the synopsis and then to tweak the partial with her suggestions on a secondary character. Hope you guys have a wonderful weekend!! Anything exciting?
