Woooohoooo! I found out yesterday that my two paragraph pitch was one of the 6 out of 45 pitches subbed chosen by Victoria Curran, Superromance line editor at Harlequin. On Friday I will have the opportunity to participate in an online pitch with her to see if she wants to read my book, Call of Duty.
*sigh* It also means if she wants to read it...I have to prepare a synopsis. Ack!! I have a basic outline I had completed for another pitch a couple of years ago. Maybe it won't require too much wrangling to get ready. The rest of this week will be a little busy for me. We're trying to get our stuff ready to be in Savannah for a month. The travel trailer has to be cleaned and restocked, and I want to leave the house clean so I won't come home to a nasty pit. Hubby and I both have doc appts Thursday and Friday. Busy, busy, busy...
Have a great weekend, my peeps. Huge hugs!!

That's awesome! Good luck with the pitch. Victoria is actually the final judge for the contest (first 25 pages + query))that I finaled in, so here's hoping she loves us both! :)
Huge congratulations, Chelle. First things first. Focus on your pitch (unless doing so will make you neurotic). Then, if requested, take time to put together a good synopsis (unless working on that now will help you to avoid being neurotic about the pitch).
LOL. Congratulations!
Hip hip hooray!!! Keep us posted :O)

That's fantastic! I know you'll do a good job.
Did you figure out your route yet? Are we going to be able to meet up on I-75 somewhere?
Roni ~ Good luck to you, too, girl!! Victoria seems to have an awesome sense of humor and I've been told she's a gem to work with.
Patricia ~ Thanks! And yes...I'm neurotic either way. LOL. But I can't pick my laptop up until this afternoon. Now work until tonight. *sigh*
Diane ~ Definitely! :D
Clarissa ~ Hugs, girlfriend! You'll be right there with me!
Z ~ Thanks sweetie!!
Chicki ~ Thanks, honey! And yes...as far as I know we're coming in on I-75. I've marked the stop you sent me. Kris said we're so close though that we may wait and come up on one of his days off so we can have more time to talk. I'll send you an email before we leave.
Wohoo, congrats Chelle. I've never won a pitch before. Now get busy polishing the synopsis. Keep us posted.
I left you a gift on my blog! Good luck!
Thanks, Bella!!
